Blogging and Blog Strategy

Since 2005 James has been an active contributor to the Blogosphere.

After attending a blogging seminar put on by Internet veteran Dave Taylor, James realized that companies who were willing to use open channels of communication to their customers, business partners and even competitors could build relationships in ways never thought possible. Upon returning to his employer, InsureMe, James began a blogging initiative that quickly became a key part of InsureMe’s corporate culture.

Professionally, James is the head author of the InsureMe Affiliate Blog - a blog dedicated to helping online affiliates be more successful. Topics include tips and tools for search engine marketing, search engine related news and updates on the latest issues and trends in affiliate marketing.

The InsureMe Affiliate Blog received the Web Marketing Association Standard of Excellence Award in the categories of marketing and blogging in 2006 and 2007.  It was also recognized as one of the top 10 affiliate marketing blogs of 2007 by affiliate marketing expert Durk Price.

In addition to his writing duties, James continues to head up InsureMe’s blogging strategy.

Personally, James also authors Marketing Punk - a blog that focuses on life, blogging, marketing and pretty much anything that James finds particularly interesting at the time.
